End of the year fun!

Buddy Readers

Standard

This morning, just like every Friday morning, the children begin their day with our friends from the neighboring 3/4 classroom. It’s one of my favorite times of the week. Several of the older children are former students of mine. I love to see them in their new role as mentors and role models for the youngers. The children were assigned buddies that they stay partnered with for the entire year. When the children get together on Friday mornings they spend time reading together and visiting. It’s a great way to start our Friday!
