Hi families,

I hope you are all faring well during the power outages across town.  Here are a few photos from the past week that will surely bring a smile to your face and warm your heart.  Included in the photos are some pics of children enjoying festive math and literacy games, Forest fun, a forest story walk (The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything), discovering just how many nuts and seeds can fit into a chipmunk’s cheek pouches, story-retelling, and reading with our big buddies.

Apples, Pumpkins, Lake Day & Forest Friday

I have lots and lots of pictures to share.  In Kindergarten we have been exploring the life cycle of apples and pumpkins.  We’ve been very busy apple picking, making applesauce, and carving pumpkins.  In addition we have also fit in lake day, Open House, & exploring soil during Forest Friday. Thank you for visiting during Open House.  It was wonderful to see so many families.
